Soundview provides hands-on instruction, training and skill assessments for medical professionals serving in life-affirming Pregnancy Medical Clinics. These services are provided by qualified Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS).
The National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA) began offering its course, Institute in Limited Obstetric Ultrasound, in 1998, and has now educated over 2,500 medical professionals in the provision of limited ob ultrasound. This three day course is the foundational educational tool for PMCs that want to offer ultrasound at their clinics. It consists of two days didactic training and one day of live ultrasound scanning.
